Welcome to Prime Aesthetics
My passion for skin health began in my teenage years when I struggled with problematic skin. I tried everything—from antibiotics to Roaccutane—to address my concerns. While some treatments offered temporary relief, they left my skin barrier compromised and came with challenging side effects. This experience not only impacted my confidence but also sparked a deep desire to truly understand skin health and how to care for it properly.
As I got older and had three children, my focus shifted entirely to raising my family. Like so many others, I put myself on the back burner, prioritising everyone else and neglecting my own needs. Over time, I realised how much this had affected my confidence and sense of self. I wanted to feel good about myself again. That’s when I started investing in my skin.
I realised that skin is our largest organ—it’s what people see first, and yet we often overlook its care. While we eat well and exercise to take care of our bodies, how often do we prioritise our skin? Through regular treatments, I noticed not only improvements in my skin’s health and appearance but also a transformation in how I felt about myself. Prevention, I learned, is the key to maintaining skin health, and self-care is truly empowering.
In 2017, I turned my personal journey into a mission to help others feel confident in their skin. I opened the clinic with the goal of creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered. To ensure the highest level of care, I brought together a team of skilled doctors and therapists who share my vision for holistic skin health. Together, we offer personalised treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs and enhance their natural beauty.
Listening to my clients’ stories and challenges inspired me to take our mission even further. I developed a skincare line designed to work harmoniously with the skin’s natural balance, offering gentle yet effective solutions for evolving skin concerns. My first appointment was for a skin scanner consultation. Faye was very helpful and informative particularly when I shared my concerns re having any skin treatments. I didn’t feel any pressure to commit to any treatments. I returned for a hydrafacial and micro needling. I was put at complete ease. The session was excellent. I can’t believe the difference in my skin since going to Prime. I’ve been for hydra facials and chemical peels with Jess who also recommended certain products to use for my skin type, of which are now the only products I use. I feel so much more confident and happier with my skin. I’d never want to leave the house without make up but now it’s the last thing on my list to do. I wish I had taken before and after photos!
