Skin Peels

The chemical peel is one of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world. Today chemical peels are among the most popular and widely recognised methods of improving the health and appearance of skin by removing dead skin cells and encouraging new ones to grow.

Chemical peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and shorter recovery time.

Our superficial peels contain a mixture of Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic Acids to remove the upper layer of the epidermis encouraging regeneration and rejuvenation of new skin cells.

The Results

  • Improved clinical appearance of skin
  • Fewer fine lines
  • Brighter complexion
  • Improved skin tone
  • Youthful appearance

How will I know which Skin Peel is right for me?

At consultation, your skin will be assessed and all treatment options discussed.

Do Skin Peels hurt?

Very gentle peels will feel tingly after a few minutes – the deeper the peel, the stronger the sensation.

When will I see the results?

Depending on the depth of the peel, improvements can be seen within days (deeper peels will take longer to recover from). Although all peels will have best results after a course, this is particularly true of lighter peels.

How long will the results last?

Results from a skin peel treatment will depend on several factors including: the strength of peel, number of treatments, condition of the skin and state of ageing (lifestyle and genetics). Results from deeper peels will last for many months.

Are Skin Peels safe?

Gentle peels are extremely safe. Stronger peels and darker skins have increased risks but with expert knowledge and training, even these peels are still very safe.

Is a Skin Peel the right treatment for me?

Skin peels can be used to treat a whole range of skin complaints, including wrinkles, fine lines, acne and acne scarring, age spots, enlarged pores, dark areas and sun-damaged skin. This treatment is ideal if you are looking to quite literally give your skin a fresh start. Book a consultation with one of our trained experts to discuss which skin peel is best for you.

What happens after a Skin Peel?

After the first treatment and starting on your skin preparation regime, you will notice improvements. Your skin will feel softer and look subtly younger. Further regular treatments will ensure you achieve your desired results.

A skin preparation regime is required for these treatments.
Please note skin types 4-6 will require additional preparation products which will be advised during consultation.
